‘The Marketing Temple’ – How to Design and Build a Marketing Plan

This Masterclass guides delegates through the key principles of how to build a compelling, creative and coherent marketing plan. Following a proprietary and proven model (The Temple), participants will work through a real-life marketing plan of their choosing and will leave with an actionable plan. It is designed for business people in small and medium size companies new to the world of marketing, or who want to upgrade their marketing activity and is available in a half- or full-day format.

The Masterclass covers three areas:

Specify the Opportunity

    • Needs – identify market pain points
    • Competition – assess and map their offerings
    • The gap – pinpoint the opportunity

Design the Proposition

      • Brand strategy – define a distinctive positioning, great name, relevant values
      • Product strategy – articulate key benefits, competitive pricing, routes to market
      • People – prioritise target audiences

Build a Plan

      • Aims – set out key marketing objectives
      • Promotion – list the most effective techniques to reach audiences – website, social media, content marketing, PR, advertising etc
      • Implementation – create a prioritised, action plan of what to do, when, by whom
